About the position

The Program Manager role at TikTok focuses on driving effective project implementation within the Global E-Commerce's Governance and Experience (GNE) team. This position is crucial for ensuring a safe and trustworthy marketplace by managing regional key projects, coordinating cross-functional communication, and improving organizational efficiency. The Program Manager will work closely with leadership and various stakeholders to facilitate decision-making and enhance service experiences for users.

Responsibilities

• Manage regional key projects and drive effective project implementation.
• Coordinate communication and collaboration across functions within APAC, collecting cross-team requirements and developing key collaboration processes.
• Responsible for key meetings and reports to ensure consistent external caliber and transparent internal information.
• Communicate with leadership regarding status, risks, and recommendations to support insightful decision-making.
• Collaborate with program teams and stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and address risks, opportunities, and dependencies across programs.
• Support and represent senior leadership in cross-functional engagement by sharing and presenting data with the wider business.
• Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in the service and experience industry, preferably in an e-commerce or high growth environment.
• Proven experience in managing complex and multi-faceted initiatives/projects within the US market or globally.
• Good critical and logical thinking; able to manage different types of projects through comprehensive planning, risk identification, and problem-solving.
• Adaptable, fast learner, and highly motivated with experience in operations and project/program management.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive work style.
• Experience in managing stakeholders from different experience and cultural backgrounds.
