About the position

As a Partner Development Manager within TikTok's Commerce Partnerships team, you will play a pivotal role in scaling interactions between TikTok users and merchants globally. This position is designed for an individual who is passionate about building and managing strategic partnerships that drive growth and sales for TikTok Shop. You will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies that align with rapidly changing merchant and product requirements. Your role will involve generating executive-friendly dashboards and overseeing quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and objectives and key results (OKRs) to measure performance, forecast growth, and define product recommendations. Additionally, you will define and manage incentive programs aimed at driving merchant growth. The Commerce Partnerships team is integral to TikTok's mission of inspiring creativity and bringing joy. By fostering relationships with partners across the commerce ecosystem, you will help create a seamless experience for merchants and users alike. This role requires a high level of collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that TikTok Shop meets its goals and adapts to the dynamic landscape of e-commerce. You will need to be a skilled project manager, capable of navigating tight deadlines and changing priorities while maintaining exceptional organization and communication skills. Your ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust quickly to change will be crucial in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and grow external relationships with partners across the commerce ecosystem and manage strategic partnerships.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies to meet TikTok Shop goals across rapidly changing merchant and product requirements.
  • Generate executive-friendly dashboards and oversee QBRs/OKRs to measure performance, forecast growth, define product recommendations and resource prioritization.
  • Define and manage incentive programs as applicable to drive merchant growth.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in strategy, business development, or partnerships focusing on commerce. High growth tech start-up experience preferred.
  • E-commerce experience is required and understanding of marketplace/ISV Connectors, OMS, WMS, ERP preferred.
  • Strong communication experience and ability to drive alignment across all levels of management.
  • Skilled project manager with exceptional organization. High EQ team-player with the ability to manage expectations across time-zones and cultures.
  • Self-motivation and ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust quickly to change.
  • Comfortable working with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Fast learner, highly entrepreneurial with a good sense of judgment and original thinking.
  • Personable, collaborative and capable of building relationships cross-functionally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
