About the position

The Senior Product Leader for the US TikTok Shop User Growth team will be responsible for driving the acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention of users on the TikTok Shop platform. This role involves building platforms that support global user growth, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging data and machine learning to optimize user experiences and revenue strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building platforms that power the user growth of TikTok Shop (E-commerce business) globally
  • Set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for UG Platform(s)
  • Work collaboratively with global and XFN teams (Product, Eng, Marketing, Data Science and Prod Operations, etc) to execute effectively on the defined roadmap
  • Build an in-depth understanding of the needs of Acquisition and Customer Lifecycle teams and the nuances in their operations across different regions
  • Author comprehensive PRDs and work with Product, Eng, Operations, and Marketing teams to drive them to launch
  • Work with ML and Data Science teams to identify opportunities primed for optimization through the deployment of ML models
  • Accurately estimate and measure the impact of launches, establish and monitor key performance metrics
  • Be an effective communicator of the vision and progress of your area to your working teams, leadership, and across the org
  • Analyze market trends and recommend appropriate pricing strategies based on data-driven insights
  • Develop and maintain revenue metrics and forecasts and use them to recommend pricing strategies
  • Collaborate with XFN teams to enhance pricing and promotion strategies and optimize revenue and profitability

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
  • Experience with tech products: Familiarity with product design/launch/GTM, product strategy, relevant experience in revenue management, pricing strategies, data analysis, or a related field is preferred
  • Proficient in Data Analytics, with a knack for translating insights into impactful product decisions, strong analytical skills, and experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python
  • Strategic and Logical Thinker, ability to research and synthesize key findings, with effective planning, analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • User-Centric Mindset: Passionate about understanding sellers from different backgrounds and excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally in a globally collaborative environment
  • Experimentation Champion, proven track record in designing and analyzing A/B tests, driving iterative improvements
  • Agility and leadership: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, driving strategies as the landscape evolves

Nice-to-haves

  • Masters Degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant product experience building platforms/infra products or working in e-commerce or operations in a technology company
  • 5+ years of experience collaborating with engineering, data science, and machine learning teams
