About the position

The Product Manager Leader at TikTok Shop will oversee the development and optimization of the e-commerce platform, aiming to enhance user experience and drive revenue growth. This role involves managing the entire product lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging data analysis to inform strategic decisions. The position is crucial in shaping the future of TikTok's commerce capabilities, ensuring that the platform remains a trusted and innovative space for businesses and users alike.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end process from design to launch, building products to promote commerce performance optimization and increase revenue.
  • Lead the team in overall planning of the commerce platform, proposing solutions through in-depth data analysis of various business scenarios.
  • Build and nurture a passionate and energetic team.
  • Collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams from diverse international backgrounds.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics preferred.
  • Experience in defining vision, strategy, and roadmap, and taking products through the software development lifecycle from conception to launch.
  • Understanding of commerce ecosystems, particularly in areas like Creator and Affiliate ecosystems, Seller/Merchant experiences, and User Growth.
  • Comfortable working with highly technical teams and driving impact with diverse global teams.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience as a strategy consultant in a global strategy consulting firm
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field (e.g., computer science, math, physics)
  • 7 years of product management experience or 4+ years of leadership experience at fast-growing companies.
