About the position

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, with a mission to inspire creativity and bring joy. The e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years, and TikTok aims to leverage its platform to deliver a new and better e-commerce experience to its users. The company is looking for passionate and talented individuals to join its product and operations team to build an innovative, secure, and intuitive e-commerce ecosystem for users and brands. The Product Solutions and Operations Manager will play a crucial role in defining solutions for products and features within the Seller Outreach product team. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional partners across the e-commerce organization, including business, policy, product, and marketing teams. The manager will be responsible for developing an end-to-end product strategy and design, executing the product roadmap, and delivering new innovations for both internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include conducting market studies to gather insights into seller needs, collaborating with various teams to shape product strategy, prioritizing product requirements based on ROI, participating in the product development lifecycle, planning go-to-market activities, managing seller center education content, and monitoring key product performance metrics to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative market studies to gather insights into seller needs and pain points when using our seller center or seller App.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Design, Data Science, and Engineering, to shape the product strategy and roadmap.
  • Prioritize product requirements based on ROI and impact analysis.
  • Participate in the product development lifecycle, review various artifacts to ensure quality, and lead user acceptance testing to ensure product quality and optimal experience prior to product launch.
  • Plan and execute go-to-market activities, including product documentation, internal stakeholders training, target audience activation plans, and operational support tools.
  • Manage seller center education content with cross-functional teams and enhance content quality.
  • Monitor key product performance metrics, conduct gap analysis, and drive product improvement plans.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in product marketing and strategy in the internet industry.
  • Proven experience in influencing product development and strategy using quantitative and qualitative market insights.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, comfortable navigating global organizational structures and aligning objectives with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and a bias for action, comfortable with setting ambitious targets, analyzing the status quo, planning a course of action, executing rapid trial and error iterations, and constantly improving.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
