About the position

As a Senior Associate/Analyst in Promotions & Events, you will play a crucial role in the commerce industry, which has seen tremendous growth and is becoming increasingly competitive among leading Internet companies. Your primary focus will be on resource planning and analytics for our newly formed team, aimed at making TikTok the preferred commerce channel for merchants, creators, and affiliates. In this position, you will develop and execute comprehensive ecommerce resource planning strategies, particularly in the realm of promotions and events. This includes setting goals and budgets, as well as conducting performance reviews to ensure that our initiatives are effective and aligned with our marketing and sales objectives. You will also be responsible for analyzing data to evaluate the performance of various promotions and events, identifying trends, and making recommendations for optimization. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential as you plan and execute promotional campaigns that resonate with our audience and drive engagement. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive ecommerce resource planning strategies with a specialization in promotions/events, including goal/budget setting and performance review.
  • Conduct data analysis to evaluate the performance of promotions and events, identify trends, and make recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns and events, aligning with the company's marketing and sales objectives.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years experience of strategic and analytical experience at leading tech companies.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL/Python.
  • Proven experience in the ecommerce industry, preferably within resource management, promotions, and events.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
