About the position

We are seeking a Senior Inventory Product Manager to join our TikTok Merchandise Product Shopping team. This team is responsible for creating the strategy, roadmap, and products for all merchandising needs on TikTok Shop. As a product manager, you will oversee the planning of end-to-end merchandise products, including SKU listing and category management. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing the inventory system to support multiple inventory scenarios in global e-commerce. You will output product planning and solutions while driving continuous product iteration. A key aspect of your responsibilities will be managing the out-of-stock rate by empowering merchants with stock alerts and sales forecasts to reduce inventory shortages. You will also investigate business needs, abstract business problems, and provide both long-term and short-term product solutions, coordinating resources to complete function development and product testing. Your role will require you to follow up on product data and user feedback, thinking deeply about business development issues and iterating on solutions. You will need to possess excellent product awareness, systematic thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a goal-oriented mindset and high sensitivity to key details. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you will be working in a complex environment and need to engage with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the inventory system to support multiple inventory scenarios in global e-commerce.
  • Output product planning and solutions, driving continuous product iteration.

Requirements

  • 3 years or more of product manager working experience, including participation in the entire product project lifecycle.
  • Strong product awareness and excellent systematic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Goal-oriented with high sensitivity and attention to key details.
  • Ability to deliver mature and easy-to-use long-term solutions for users and formulate product life cycle roadmap.
  • Excellent English communication skills; experience in international e-commerce is preferred.
