The Governance and Experience team within TikTok Shop is dedicated to ensuring a safe and trustworthy marketplace for users, sellers, and creators. This team works on improving risk detection, fairness, content quality, and post-order experiences, all while striving to enhance user satisfaction through effective policies and systems. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and optimizing the user shopping flow on the TikTok platform, focusing on enhancing the overall shopping experience. This includes managing platform traffic distribution and centralized shopping channels, such as recommendation systems and search functionalities. You will develop and implement traffic control strategies to ensure efficient user flow across various E-commerce scenarios. Additionally, you will work on building a compliant ecosystem by creating solutions to measure and monitor market compliance, ensuring fairness and integrity across the platform. Your role will also involve developing diverse content and creator strategies tailored to international markets, identifying user needs, and promoting cross-departmental collaboration to address user pain points and achieve collective goals.

Responsibilities

  • Define and optimize the user shopping flow on the TikTok platform to enhance the overall shopping experience, focusing on platform traffic distribution and centralized shopping channels.
  • Develop and implement traffic control strategies to manage and optimize the flow of users on the platform, ensuring balanced and efficient distribution of traffic to various E-commerce scenarios.
  • Build a compliant ecosystem by creating solutions to measure and monitor the structural compliance of the market, ensuring fairness and integrity across the platform.
  • Establish a comprehensive monitoring index system, track data, and be responsible for improving product penetration and user satisfaction.
  • Develop diverse content and creator strategies tailored to international markets and user characteristics to boost user satisfaction and E-commerce efficiency on the platform.
  • Identify essential user needs through empathy, addressing user pain points, promoting cross-departmental collaboration, and coordinating with partners to achieve collective goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in product strategy within content products, platform products, risk control products, or AI products.
  • Experience working with international partners across different time zones and cultures, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Technical skills in data analysis (SQL, Python).

  • Strong logical thinking and independent data analytics ability, with the capability to understand complex business scenarios and demands, combine data analytics with business needs, define problems, and devise actionable solutions.
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills, organizational coordination, and ability to handle pressure, with a result-oriented mindset.
  • A good understanding and practical experience of back-end technology, platform products, or models, particularly in the context of E-commerce traffic control and optimization.
