About the position

The Senior Product Manager for Merchants Products at TikTok Shop is responsible for overseeing the development and management of merchant-related products. This role involves understanding merchants' operational strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful project implementation from start to finish. The position aims to enhance the merchant experience on the TikTok platform, driving business goals through effective product planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Understand merchants' business operation strategies and their daily work through various channels such as interviews, focus groups, and online feedback.
• Design and plan for merchant products and implement proper improvements based on insights gathered.
• Leverage multiple resources and efforts to achieve optimal business goals.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams from international backgrounds, including Product Operation, Technical, Data, and Risk Control teams.
• Ensure projects are implemented effectively from start to finish.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• 3+ years of work experience in the e-commerce industry, with experience in designing merchant products being a plus.
• Previous experience as a product manager or in product design is required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills, with the ability to adjust strategies in complex situations.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a global corporation is preferred.
