About the position

The Product Manager for TikTok Seller Commerce will focus on enhancing the end-to-end experience for merchants on the TikTok platform. This role is pivotal in driving merchant growth by identifying key factors that encourage more merchants to utilize TikTok's commerce capabilities. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that improve onboarding efficiency and overall merchant satisfaction, ultimately contributing to the growth of TikTok's commerce ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Be a product manager for TikTok Commerce growth products by understanding the needs of TikTok commerce sellers and developing a compelling product strategy and roadmap.
  • Identify new opportunities to drive seller onboarding and sales, including improvements to existing processes and introducing new features.
  • Partner with engineers and data scientists to expand organic traffic for seller growth and optimize product experience to improve onboarding efficiency.
  • Identify trends in data and plan short- and long-term roadmaps for product development.
  • Execute throughout the product development process by gathering and defining requirements, writing specifications, creating wireframes and workflows, running user studies, conducting A/B tests, and coordinating marketing and launch plans.
  • Build alignment across the company on your vision, including with leadership and executives.
  • Collaborate and build trust with engineers, data science, and other cross-functional teammates.
  • Think creatively and approach key problems with system-level thinking.
  • Independently initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance and speed of execution.
  • Communicate concisely and influence outcomes.
  • Create delightful, polished, and performant products for end-users in the US market and on any device.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • 5+ years of product management experience in e-commerce, internet advertising, or other product-led growth companies.
  • Direct experience working on B2B growth is preferred.
  • Experience with software development, product design, or interaction design.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with A/B testing.

  • Experience performing product-oriented quantitative analysis.
