About the position

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our TikTok Seller Commerce team, which focuses on creating a seamless end-to-end experience for merchants who wish to join the platform. This includes aspects such as Seller Onboarding, Catalog Management, and Logistics. The Seller Commerce team is dedicated to providing efficient solutions that enhance the overall quality of life for merchants on the platform. In this role, you will be responsible for driving Merchant Growth by identifying key factors that will increase the number of merchants using the TikTok Commerce platform. You will act as a product manager for TikTok Commerce growth products, requiring a deep understanding of the needs of our TikTok commerce sellers. Your responsibilities will include developing a compelling product strategy and roadmap, finding new opportunities to drive seller onboarding, and optimizing existing processes to improve efficiency. You will partner with engineers and data scientists to expand organic traffic for seller growth, enhance outreach efficiency, and optimize the product experience to improve onboarding efficiency. Your role will involve identifying trends in data, planning short- and long-term roadmaps, and executing throughout the product development process. This includes gathering and defining requirements, writing specifications, creating wireframes and workflows, running user studies, conducting A/B tests, and coordinating marketing and launch plans. Building alignment across the company on your vision, including with leadership and executives, will also be a key part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Be a product manager for TikTok Commerce growth products by deeply understanding the needs of our TikTok commerce sellers and developing a compelling product strategy and roadmap.
  • Find new opportunities that can drive sellers onboard and start to sell, not limited to improving on what we have, but to introduce what we haven't.
  • Partner with engineers and data scientists to expand organic traffic for seller growth, enlarge leads pools for outreach efficiency and optimize product using experience to improve onboarding efficiency, that eventually drives TikTok sellers quantity and GMV growth.
  • Identify trends in data, plan short- and long-term roadmaps.
  • Execute throughout the product development process by gathering and defining requirements, writing specs, creating wireframes and workflows, running user studies, conducting AB tests, and coordinating marketing and other launch plans.
  • Build alignment across the company on your vision, including with leadership and executives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management in either e-commerce, or internet advertising and other PLG companies.
  • Direct experience working on to-B growth is preferred.
  • Experience with software development, product design, or interaction design.
