About the position

The Senior Product Manager for the Content Creation Tools on the Seller team at TikTok will focus on enhancing the experience for merchants on the platform. This role involves identifying key motivators for sellers to create engaging content, such as short videos and live shows, to promote their products. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop technology and systems that support sellers, while also establishing product vision and executing the product development process.

Responsibilities

  • Find new opportunities to drive seller engagement with TikTok Shop, particularly in creating short videos and live streaming.
  • Partner with designers, engineers, and data scientists to build technology and products that help sellers achieve returns on the platform.
  • Identify trends in data and establish product vision, planning short- and long-term roadmaps.
  • Execute the product development process by gathering requirements, writing specifications, creating wireframes, running user studies, conducting AB tests, and coordinating marketing plans.
  • Build alignment across the company on product vision, including with leadership and executives.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of product management experience in e-commerce, video making, or content creation companies.
  • Direct experience with creative tools, especially AR or video editing tools for creators is preferred.
  • Experience in software development, product design, or interaction design.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with AB testing.
