About the position

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, with a mission to inspire creativity and bring joy. The Senior Product Marketing Manager for Partner Product will play a crucial role in scaling interactions between TikTok users and merchants globally. This position involves close collaboration with Product Managers, Research & Development, business operations, and various other counterparts to ensure the successful adoption of the TikTok Commerce platform by end-users, merchants, and creators. The role requires planning, orchestrating, and executing go-to-market activities, which includes developing product messaging, building training assets, designing promotions, and creating content. Candidates should have experience in target audience activation by segment and building operational support plans. Additionally, the manager will design assets and collateral to drive product and feature adoption, conduct quantitative and qualitative market studies to gather insights into purchasing and content-consumption behavior, and build mechanisms for managing input and feedback from various types of users. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will also partner with Product Managers to define product requirements and roadmaps based on market and user studies, participate in the product development lifecycle, and ensure quality and optimal user experience prior to launch. This role requires a combination of ROI analysis, dependency analysis, and other techniques to prioritize product requirements, as well as monitoring key performance indicators and conducting gap analysis to implement improvement plans.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, orchestrate and execute go-to-market activities, including developing product messaging, building training assets, designing promotions, and creating content.
  • Design assets and collateral to drive product and feature adoption.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative market studies to gather insights into purchasing and content-consumption behavior of end-users, business practices and preferences of merchants, creators, agencies, and service providers.
  • Build mechanisms for managing input and feedback from various types of users and data sources.
  • Partner with Product Managers to define product requirements and roadmaps based on market and user studies.
  • Participate in the product development lifecycle, reviewing various artifacts to ensure quality of end products.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing to ensure quality and optimal user experience prior to launch.
  • Combine ROI analysis, dependency analysis and other techniques to prioritize product requirements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and other product metrics, conduct gap analysis, and implement improvement plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in related fields preferred.
  • 2-5 years working experience in the internet industry; e-commerce marketplace or SAAS experience preferred.
  • Great communicator, team-worker, and a bias for action; comfortable navigating global organization structures and aligning objectives with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical, data sensitive & goal-driven; comfortable with setting ambitious targets, analyzing the status quo, planning a course of action, executing rapid trial & error iterations and constantly improving.
  • Experience in producing impactful product collateral and GTM campaigns.
  • Ability to thrive in a work environment with diverse cultures.
  • Passion for content and enjoyment of shopping.
