About the position

The Senior Strategy & Analytics Associate for Creator & Content at TikTok Shop plays a crucial role in enhancing the e-commerce experience on the platform. This position focuses on analyzing and strategizing the creator/content ecosystem to improve acquisition, retention, and productivity trends. The associate will work closely with operations teams to develop successful models for live commerce and foster collaboration between merchants and creators, ultimately driving TikTok's mission to inspire creativity and bring joy through innovative e-commerce solutions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the overall health of the creator/content ecosystem and analyze acquisition, retention, and productivity trends.
• Provide recommendations to improve creator/content quality and supply.
• Understand the role of external creator and service provider agencies in the social e-commerce ecosystem and provide strategic viewpoints for collaboration.
• Connect and prioritize creator/content strategies across TikTok and external social media for the e-commerce business.
• Explore and develop success models for live commerce in collaboration with operations teams.

Requirements

• 5 years of strategic and analytical experience at leading management consulting firms or tech/e-commerce companies.
• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in benchmarking, market research, competitor analysis, and go-to-market strategy.
• Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Proactive initiative to identify business challenges and develop innovative solutions.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with strategic analysis toolkits such as analytical issue trees and expert interviews.
• Experience in creator monetization, content growth strategy, and affiliate marketing programs.
• Proficiency in SQL and conducting data analysis.
