About the position

As a Data Analyst for TikTok Shop's US logistics operations, you will play a crucial role in analyzing data to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our e-commerce logistics. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough data analysis, focusing on the performance of logistics operations within the United States. You will maintain and improve operational performance indices, assisting top management in monitoring weekly and bi-monthly performance metrics. Utilizing statistical techniques, you will analyze results and provide ongoing reports that inform strategic decisions. In collaboration with the logistics team, you will help set strategies aimed at improving lead times, reducing costs, and enhancing logistics experience ratings. Your ability to communicate findings effectively will be essential in influencing stakeholders to take necessary actions based on your analyses. Additionally, you will follow up on data analysis from local operation teams in various overseas markets, supporting operations and providing optimization suggestions to enhance overall performance. You will also work closely with the Products and ETL teams to define system requirements, build data products, and improve product features that support business objectives. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in logistics operations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for data analysis of TikTok e-commerce's US logistics operations
  • Maintain & improve operation performance index; assist top management to monitor the weekly and bi-monthly operation performance; analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Cooperate with logistics team to set strategy, e.g. Leadtime improvement, cost reduction, logistics experience rating, etc; communicate findings to influence others to take actions
  • Follow-up data analysis of local operation teams in several overseas markets, support operation and provide optimization suggestions
  • Cooperate with Products and ETL teams to define system requirements, build data products, improve and roll-out product features to support business.

Requirements

  • A degree holder in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operation Research, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science is preferred
  • At least 3 years of working experience in data analysis
  • Proficient in SQL and familiar with Python or R
  • High energy, self-motivation and ability to work in a fast-growing environment
