Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing all aspects of the restaurant's operation to meet Tim Hortons' standards.
  • Support the recruitment, training, and development of team members.
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Help identify and develop high-potential employees for progression.
  • Communicate daily operations and critical focus areas across shifts.
  • Assist in establishing security procedures to reduce theft and ensure safety.
  • Aid in financial planning, budgeting, and maximizing profits.
  • Manage daily cash procedures and assist with financial reporting.
  • Order supplies and maintain overall building cleanliness.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety legislation.
  • Resolve guest complaints and enhance guest experiences.
  • Assist in running company-wide incentive programs and manage team member scheduling.

Requirements

  • No prior experience needed, but hospitality management or customer service experience is preferred.
  • Mid-level assistant manager experience is beneficial.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
  • Experience in food service and cash handling is advantageous.
  • Restaurant experience is preferred.
