About the position

As a Floor Supervisor at Timberland, you will lead and motivate a team of Brand Advocates to deliver a Best in Class customer experience that aligns with the brand's values. You will work closely with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager to enhance profitability through effective customer engagement, merchandising, and community involvement. Your role will also focus on creating an inclusive environment and prioritizing both internal and external customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maximizing sales and achieving store target goals by leading an environment of productivity.
  • Monitor payroll while protecting the needs of the business.
  • Lead and inspire a customer-centric culture by recognizing and rewarding team successes.
  • Engage with the community and support initiatives outside the store.
  • Provide leadership for training and ongoing development of the store team in customer engagement and company programs.
  • Achieve financial and operational objectives including expense control and loss prevention.
  • Ensure the store's inventory integrity is maintained.
  • Implement visual merchandise directives and maintain brand standards.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity, and learning.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of store management experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales results.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced store environment.
  • Proven ability to drive results through the store team.
  • Willingness to learn and share knowledge of products and community.
  • Ability to provide a highly engaging customer experience through service and relationship building.
  • Excellent decision-making ability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with proficient computer skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a specialty retail environment, particularly in footwear/apparel.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
