Aon is seeking an experienced Leader to join our expanding Time Away & Life Solutions (TALS) Consulting Practice. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both virtually and from one of our offices in the United States. In this leadership position within the TALS Consulting Practice, you will be responsible for driving strategy for our largest clients. Your role will involve servicing our existing client base while also focusing on business growth through the sales of new projects and clients. You will collaborate with underwriters, actuaries, account managers, and auditors from the practice to deliver exceptional service to your clients. Our team specializes in National Account clients, and with the evolving needs of the leave industry, there is a constant demand for strategy development and cost modeling to ensure our clients remain compliant and competitive in the marketplace. The TALS team is composed of professionals with diverse backgrounds and skill sets, working collaboratively to meet client needs. As a leader, you will possess technical expertise in areas such as PTO, disability, life insurance, FMLA, municipal/state regulated leaves, and ADA Stay and Return to Work program administration. You will lead projects and client relationships, demonstrating strong leadership skills. This role provides an opportunity to integrate and innovate with other Aon specialty areas, including Health Transformation, Risk Safety and Casualty, and Data Forensics and Intelligence. You will oversee a dedicated team of experts supporting large client projects and be responsible for driving revenue growth for the TALS practice.
Responsibilities
- Drive strategy for large clients within the Time Away & Life Solutions Consulting Practice.
- Service existing client base and grow business through sales of new projects and clients.
- Collaborate with underwriters, actuaries, account managers, and auditors to deliver client solutions.
- Develop strategies and cost models to ensure client compliance and competitiveness in the marketplace.
- Lead projects and client relationships, demonstrating leadership skills.
- Oversee a dedicated team of experts supporting large client projects.
- Review deliverables, planning, scheduling, resourcing, and executing large projects/programs.
- Identify ways to improve efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
- Develop new procedures, processes, and products by applying professional principles and business judgment.
- Champion best practices for consistent processes, tools, and techniques for profitable delivery.
Requirements
- Masters in disability related studies preferred.
- Industry-specific certifications preferred (CRC, CCM, CDMS, etc.).
- 12+ years in the Absence, Life & Disability industry.
- Demonstrated people management experience.
- Advanced technical and consultative skills/expertise.

- Experience with data analysis and understanding of current trends in the leave industry.
