About the position

The Time Limited Parts Control Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of maintenance, repair, overhaul, and inspection information for life-limited and hard time parts. This position is responsible for auditing the Maintenance Software Database (Ramco) and ensuring adherence to the Maintenance Time Limits Manual (MTLM). The auditor will conduct thorough back-to-birth audits on various components, including engines, landing gear, APUs, thrust reversers, and batteries, to verify the completeness and accuracy of life-limited component information. This involves tracking the correct last done and next due values for components requiring overhaul, identifying any tracking problems or errors, and taking necessary actions to resolve these issues to maintain the safety of aircraft operations. In addition to routine audits, the auditor will perform historical audits on fan blades to ensure compliance with required inspections and will audit engine logbooks and landing gear records before and after repairs. The role also includes updating APU tracking information and communicating with repair providers to exchange or update information regarding components. The auditor will be expected to perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the maintenance operations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can navigate multiple systems and applications effectively. The auditor must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret technical instructions and documents. The role is essential in maintaining the integrity of the maintenance records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, ultimately supporting the operational success of Republic Airways.

Responsibilities

  • Audit maintenance, repair, overhaul, and inspection information for life-limited and hard time parts.
  • Perform back-to-birth audits on components such as engines, landing gear, APUs, thrust reversers, and batteries.
  • Ensure components requiring overhaul are tracking the correct last done/next due values according to the MTLM/MPD.
  • Identify tracking problems or errors through audits and take necessary actions to resolve them.
  • Conduct historical audits on fan blades to ensure compliance with required inspections and audit paperwork for correctness and completeness.
  • Update engine fan blade configuration following remapping/shuffling of blades.
  • Audit engine logbook/records and landing gear records prior to and after repairs to ensure completeness and correctness of information.
  • Update APU tracking information and life-limited parts in the records database and maintenance software database per bi-weekly inspections.
  • Install A/C piece parts and update parameter values as part of the acquisition process.
  • Communicate with repair providers to exchange or update information relating to components or work.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of related records auditing or problem-solving work experience.
  • Ability to navigate between multiple systems and applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate's degree in Aviation field (management, operations, maintenance, A&P).
  • Experience in aircraft maintenance.
