About the position

The Timekeeper position at Pilgrim's involves managing payroll and personnel actions for over 1500 employees at the De Queen, Arkansas complex. Responsibilities

  • Audit and reconcile a wide range of personnel actions and payroll documents for more than 1500 employees.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Coordinate with production on weekly/bi-weekly payroll reporting and balancing.
  • Maintain company records and ensure audit compliance in all aspects of operation.
  • Handle timekeeping and payroll responsibilities for the De Queen AR complex.
  • Work closely with Managers, Supervisors, and HR Personnel to ensure operational success.
  • Perform other duties as required by management and supervisors.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of clerical accounting, timekeeping, and payroll experience preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to examine and verify payroll documents and reports.
  • Capability to prepare a variety of reports and analyses.
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with SAP, KRONOS, and Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
