About the position

The Timekeeper position at PCL Industrial Construction Co. in Orange, Texas, is responsible for processing payroll and billing data, ensuring accuracy in time validation, and reconciling payroll with billing reports. Responsibilities

  • Perform all activities necessary to process data for payroll and billing, including time validation and entry.
  • Reconcile payroll to billing reports and process billing through client systems.
  • Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, posting information onto designated records.
  • Handle incoming telephone calls as necessary.
  • Perform timekeeping duties for assigned field personnel.
  • Compile, validate, and enter labor, per diem, and equipment data into systems for payroll and billing.
  • Reconcile payroll, billing, and client system data to ensure accuracy and expedite payment.
  • Serve as a point of contact between employees and other departments.
  • Adhere to Company/Customer safety standards and practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of various database systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Access, Excel).
  • Proficient in Excel with strong skills in checking and balancing various accounts.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Familiarity with badging systems.
