About the position

The Tire Technician position at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores involves working in a fast-paced environment focused on customer service and tire maintenance. The role includes the sale, removal, and replacement of tires for commercial vehicles, as well as equipment repair and general housekeeping duties. Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility, including general housekeeping duties.
• Ensure the safety and satisfaction of customers by complying with company safety policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds while working in close quarters and various temperatures.
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain cleanliness.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with customers and drivers.
• Physical ability to move and lift heavy objects (75+ pounds).
• Willingness to work in various temperatures and conditions.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in tire maintenance or automotive service is a plus, but not required.
