About the position
The Tire Technician position at Love's involves working in a fast-paced environment focused on customer service and tire maintenance for commercial vehicles. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and the opportunity for career growth within a family-owned company that values its employees.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires for commercial vehicles in both shop and roadside service.
- Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility, including general housekeeping duties.
- Move and lift 75+ pounds while working in close quarters and various temperatures.
- Ensure customer safety and satisfaction by complying with company safety policies and procedures.
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
- Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation, with costs covered by Love's.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean workspace.
- Strong customer service skills to interact with customers and drivers.
- Physical ability to move and lift heavy tires and equipment.
