About the position
The Tire Technician at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores plays a crucial role in maintaining a fast-paced environment focused on customer satisfaction. This position involves tire sales, removal, and replacement for commercial vehicles, as well as equipment repair and general maintenance of the store facility. Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
- Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility, including general housekeeping duties.
- Ensure the safety and satisfaction of customers by complying with company safety policies and procedures.
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
- Move and lift 75+ pounds while working in close quarters and various temperatures.
- Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation, with costs covered by Love's.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain cleanliness.
- Strong customer service skills to interact with customers and drivers.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (75+ pounds).
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures and conditions.
- Ability to comply with safety policies and procedures.
