Responsibilities

  • Actively learn and develop manufacturing knowledge and skills through guided and self-directed activities.
  • Work closely with mill operations and cross-functional teams to understand and improve paper-making processes.
  • Define and optimize operating parameters for various papermaking processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the standardization and efficiency of paper machine assets.
  • Engage with mentors and subject matter experts to acquire operational, technical, and leadership capabilities.
  • Conduct learning sessions to disseminate knowledge within the manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree or alternative program in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Paper Science Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2025.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States.
