About the position

The position involves supervising operational functions related to providing title services to customers within First American's National Production Services division. The role focuses on managing teams responsible for title operations, ensuring compliance with policies, and enhancing customer service. It requires collaboration with various internal and external groups to meet production goals and timelines while fostering a supportive and innovative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operational activities of Title employees in a Title Operations Center.
• Assist with personnel management, ensuring compliance with wage and work hour laws.
• Delegate tasks, manage workflow, and make staffing recommendations.
• Conduct interviews, provide hiring recommendations, and write performance reviews.
• Monitor processes and identify training needs for staff and the organization.
• Implement processes and metrics to improve customer service, quality, and productivity.
• Drive problem-solving activities to ensure high-quality and cost-effective products.
• Act as a liaison with offshore groups to monitor production and performance metrics.
• Provide regular status updates and reports to the Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of directly related experience.
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Familiarity with company policies, contract coverage, and compliance concerns.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Solid technical knowledge of operational processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with electronic imaging databases such as TRD, DATATREE, DATATRACE.
