About the position

As a Full-Time Retail Customer Experience Coordinator, you will be responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience while overseeing a team of Associates at the front of the store. Your leadership will ensure that customers receive prompt and courteous service, and you will actively engage with them to foster a positive shopping atmosphere. This role is not just about managing tasks; it’s about leading by example and creating a culture of honesty, integrity, and respect within the team. In this position, you will take an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles, helping them personalize the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs. You will be responsible for assigning registers, supporting POS coverage needs, and coordinating breaks for all Associates. Addressing customer concerns promptly and ensuring a positive experience is paramount. You will also ensure that Associates execute tasks according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed, and communicate effectively with management and team members. Your role will involve providing recognition and constructive feedback to your team, partnering with management to identify training needs, and ensuring adherence to all labor laws and company policies. Additionally, you will promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment for both customers and Associates. Responsibilities

  • Promote an excellent customer experience.
  • Oversee a team of Associates at the front of the store.
  • Engage and interact with customers to maintain a clean and organized store.
  • Model outstanding customer service.
  • Create a positive internal and external customer experience.
  • Promote a culture of honesty and integrity; maintain confidentiality.
  • Train and mentor Associates on front-end principles.
  • Coach Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs.
  • Assign registers and support POS coverage needs; coordinate breaks for Associates.
  • Address customer concerns and issues promptly.
  • Ensure Associates execute tasks according to store plan; prioritize as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates regarding priorities and progress updates.
  • Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
  • Partner with management on Associate training needs.
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs.
  • Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
  • Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
  • Capable of multi-tasking.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Able to train others.
  • 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
