About the position

As a Treasury Management Product Analyst at SouthState, you will play a crucial role in the planning, organizing, and directing of the development and maintenance of all Treasury and Payment Solutions commercial/business banking products. This position operates under general direction and is responsible for overseeing the product life cycle from conceptual stages through to launch and ongoing management. You will ensure that the Product Roadmap is updated in a timely manner, collaborating closely with assigned product managers to align on goals and milestones. Your role will also involve preparing a comprehensive Product Project Plan for all new product launches and enhancements, ensuring that it is frequently updated with key milestone dates and deliverables that are produced on time. In this position, you will collaborate with various teams including Product Managers, Support, Sales, IT, Compliance, Legal, and the Executive Team. Your responsibilities will include planning, designing, developing, analyzing, testing, training, and ensuring accurate billing and profitability of all new product rollouts and enhancements. You will analyze client trends and strategic opportunities to align products with these trends, as well as industry trends to determine market behaviors and how best to respond as a business. Additionally, you will translate product partner concepts and business requirements into actionable guidance for functional partners and senior managers, assisting in the strategy and roadmap to improve the sales process and client experience across products. You will also support the definition, monitoring, and tracking of KPIs, developing a concrete point of view on insights to present to leadership. Engaging with the Sales Team will be essential to define business cases and validate concepts, as well as to gain insights and identify customer needs. Furthermore, you will assist in developing training plans for the Sales and Support Teams regarding product features, benefits, and value propositions. Keeping product documentation updated and accessible on the appropriate sites will also be part of your responsibilities. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Support, Sales, IT, Compliance, Legal, and Executive Team to plan, design, develop, analyze, test, train, and ensure accurate billing and profitability of all new product rollouts and enhancements.
  • Analyze client trends and strategic opportunities to align products to these trends.
  • Analyze industry trends to determine market behaviors and how best to respond as a business.
  • Translate product partner concepts and business requirements into guidance for functional partners and senior managers.
  • Assist with the strategy and roadmap to improve the sales process and client experience across products.
  • Support with defining, monitoring, and tracking KPIs and developing concrete point of view on insights to present to leadership.
  • Engage with the Sales Team to define business case and concept validation, as well as to gain insights and identify customer needs.
  • Assist in developing training plans for the Sales and Support Teams of product features, benefits, and value proposition.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining the product roadmap in coordination with Product Managers, and clearly communicate goals, milestones, project responsibilities and desired outcomes throughout the Bank.
  • Design communications, marketing materials, and presentations for internal and external utilization.
  • Keep product documentation updated and available on the appropriate sites.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters or Equivalent experience
  • Experience: 3-5 years previous banking experience preferred (Treasury Management, Commercial Call Center, Operations, Marketing, Financial Product Development and/or Research and Interpretation of Data)
  • Experience with account analysis, Treasury Management products/services and online banking systems preferred
  • Certifications/Specific Knowledge: MS office expertise (MS Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Understanding of the technical aspects of Treasury Management products preferred
  • Excellent written/oral communications skills
  • Proven success in problem analysis and resolution
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple detailed work assignments with a high degree of accuracy.
