About the position

This position is for a Logistics Management Support role within the TMAS 2 EWG project at GMRE, focusing on the management of Research Development Test & Evaluation projects for fighter aircraft. The role involves providing logistical advice, project management support, and technical coordination to ensure the successful execution of various project phases, from planning to analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistical advice and assistance for the development of AFTC test capabilities.
• Support concept exploration/definition and technology prototype development.
• Conduct requirements definition, validation, verification, refinement, and functional analysis.
• Develop technical and acquisition documentation.
• Conduct trade studies and configuration management (CM).
• Perform technical reviews and independent verification & validation.
• Manage risk and logistics integration planning and engineering.
• Coordinate technical activities with suppliers and other support contractors.
• Assist with meetings, capture minutes, and maintain action item status lists.
• Develop and manage project schedules using MS Project or other tools.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations personnel for task updates.
• Develop cost and resource estimates for statements of capability.
• Track project metrics and report on acquisition strategy methodologies.

Requirements

• Experience in logistics management for Advanced Fighter aircraft or other DoD flight test programs.
• Ability to analyze and develop project baselines and schedules.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.

Nice-to-haves
