About the position

The TNT Sports Research and Insights Coordinator is a temporary role at Warner Bros. Discovery that focuses on supporting research tactics, insights, and storylines related to sports programming and consumers. This position involves data collection, analysis, and the creation of visual presentations to communicate findings effectively. It offers an opportunity to learn about consumer behavior in the sports industry while working with major sports brands.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating with Programming to input program schedules and other critical information into the NCL database
• Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data from primary and secondary sources for daily and ad hoc reporting
• Using software applications (such as Nielsen, NCL, Arianna, MRI, Star Media, etc.) to generate data and reports
• Creating presentations and other documents for data visualization
• Contributing sports knowledge and analytical expertise during department meetings and strategy sessions
• Additional tasks will be dependent on experience and strengths

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Industry work experience or a relevant internship is preferred
• Ability to master new software and technology
• Strong math skills
• Solid writing and verbal communication skills
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to communicate data and analysis through visual design and written communication
• Experience with Nielsen software, including Nielsen Content Link, is a must
• Knowledge of sports leagues, sports industry and sports landscape are a plus
• Previous experience in Programming or Ad Sales Research is a plus
