The Lead Teacher at Chesterbrook Academy is responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for preschool children. Responsibilities

• Create and cultivate a purposeful learning experience for preschool students.
• Support the overall well-being and development of each child in your care.
• Collaborate with other faculty and staff members.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians.
• Maintain a well-organized and engaging classroom environment.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to carry or lift 25 pounds or less (25-50%) often and 25-50 pounds (10-25%) occasionally.
• Comply with all company and state-specific standards and maintain validation of required credentials for the position.
• Ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students.
• Bachelor's Degree with 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field (one year of experience with children may be required).
• Associate degree with 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field (two to three years of experience with children may be required).
• High School Diploma or GED with at least two years of experience with children.
