About the position

As a Toddler Teacher or Teacher Assistant at Primrose School of Cottage Grove, you will create a nurturing and engaging environment for young children, fostering their curiosity and love for learning. This role involves implementing the Balanced Learning® curriculum, maintaining a well-kept classroom, and building genuine relationships with each child to support their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun and safe environment for students to discover new concepts through multi-sensory learning experiences.
• Modify lessons to meet children where they are in the learning cycle.
• Help children refine kindergarten readiness skills.
• Nurture children's social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Work with a co-teacher to implement lesson plans from the Balanced Learning® curriculum.
• Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages exploration and decision-making.

Requirements

• Must meet DHS Rule 3 (MN state requirements) for Toddler Teacher or Teacher Assistant.
• Passion for teaching and nurturing young children.
