About the position

The Lead Toddler Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and safe environment for toddlers in a daycare setting. This role involves engaging with children through play and educational activities, ensuring their safety, and maintaining a clean classroom. The ideal candidate will have experience in a center environment and be able to work collaboratively with a team while communicating effectively with parents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Positive interaction with children, playing, reading stories, etc.
• Supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
• Create engaging lesson plans based on RIELDS

Requirements

• Experience in a daycare setting (1 year required)
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a CANTS check and Comprehensive Background Check
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Friendly and reliable
• Certification in child First Aid/CPR preferred
