About the position
The Toddler Teacher position at Lewis County Head Start is a full-time role focused on providing quality early childhood education to toddlers. The teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing learning experiences that align with the toddler curriculum, fostering a nurturing and educational environment for children and their families. This position emphasizes the importance of interpersonal communication and organizational skills to effectively engage with staff, parents, and the community.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement child and family learning experiences that ensure effective implementation of the toddler curriculum.
- Communicate effectively with staff, parents, children, and the community.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and writing skills in daily tasks.
Requirements
- Must have a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or comparable credential.
- Training or equivalent coursework in early childhood development with a focus on infant and toddler development.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Hold a clean driver's license.
