Xerox Holdings Corporation is seeking a Toner Packing Operator for its manufacturing facility located in Webster, NY. The role involves working in a highly automated environment, where the operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting automated filling and packaging equipment used specifically for toner packaging. This includes various machinery such as filling systems, plugging robots, case packers, and labelers. The operator will also be tasked with loading empty bottles onto the automated filling lines while ensuring quality control by visually inspecting for proper part numbers and overall quality of the products being processed. In this role, the operator must keep pace with the running toner filling and packaging equipment to meet production goals. Monitoring product quality is crucial, and the operator will follow manufacturing procedures that include product sampling, visual inspections, and weighing of bottles and cartridges during the filling cycle. The position requires interfacing with computer systems to perform basic troubleshooting, which may involve interpreting alarm and fault messages. Additionally, the operator will perform changeovers of production equipment between different products, maintain accurate production records, and communicate effectively with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve any issues that may arise, thereby minimizing downtime. The Toner Packing Operator will also be responsible for handling, monitoring, and labeling inventory, as well as maintaining a clean and organized workstation. The work schedule includes B shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM and C shift from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with hourly pay rates of $19.25 and $19.50 respectively.
