About the position
The Tool & Die Builder at Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials is responsible for preparing and organizing extrusion setup packages, ensuring all necessary tooling is ready for production. This role emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and adherence to safety protocols to maintain a seamless production workflow and high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize extrusion setup packages for the extrusion department.
- Maintain a high level of readiness and organization for seamless production workflow.
- Perform tooling maintenance tasks, including disassembly, cleaning, and assembly of extrusion tooling.
- Maintain, clean, and repair Con-Air and Matsui Dryers to ensure proper operation.
- Ensure consumable supplies are in good working order and properly maintained.
- Prepare and complete extrusion job checklists for accurate setup and production.
- Communicate tooling issues or concerns to the Tool & Die Building Lead or Manufacturing Supervisor.
- Coordinate the scheduling of cold zones for coating when Teflon wear is detected.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company safety standards.
- Safely operate equipment, including forklifts and hand-powered trucks.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Mechanical experience
- Ability to work with hand tools.
