About the position

The Tool Repair Coordinator at Hubbell Incorporated is responsible for providing exceptional customer service related to tool repair and shipping procedures. This role involves technical assistance to customers regarding tool components, managing repair orders, and maintaining relevant systems and files. The position requires effective communication and organizational skills to prioritize repairs and report on tool repair metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Talk with customers by phone, schedule, and place tool repair orders on the computer.
  • Place orders and determine pricing for new replacement tools.
  • Maintain the Burndy Tool Maintenance System files.
  • Maintain and distribute sales drawings.
  • Assist with receiving in of customer returned tools.
  • Develop Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Perform preliminary tests on tools repaired to determine estimates.
  • Create outbound shipments for repaired tools.
  • Prioritize repairs for the tool repair technical team.
  • Provide reporting on tool repair aging, revenue, and repair throughput.

Requirements

  • Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • SAP experience a plus.
  • MS Office proficient.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Prior Customer Service experience preferred.
