Employees will be expected to perform preventative maintenance on tooling, diagnose operational issues, and manage tool inventory systems. Responsibilities
- Operate and set up all equipment in the stamping process, both single stroke and automatic.
- Diagnose operational issues logically and efficiently.
- Utilize measurement methods and computer systems, including CMM's, comparators, and hardness testers, to measure parts and die components.
- Perform preventative maintenance on tooling as required and conduct die components diagnostics.
- Rebuild tooling and manage tool inventory systems effectively.
- Work with engineering on sample and tool development, ensuring alignment with die designs.
- Perform minor repairs in the tooling process as needed.
Requirements
- No High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous die bench experience required.
- Must be physically fit to perform heavy lifting and physical exertion.
- Must be able to pass required testing and successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with electrical discharge machining (1 year preferred).
- Experience with CNC (1 year preferred).
- Possession of a valid Journeyman License (preferred).
