About the position

ECS is seeking a Tools Product Manager to oversee the lifecycle management of collaboration tools hosted on Kubernetes at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. This role involves working closely with customers to gather requirements for new tools and features, ensuring proper design and implementation in collaboration with the development team. The Tools Product Manager will also be responsible for maintaining toolsets, conducting market research, and managing partnerships with vendors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the lifecycle management of tools, including installation, patching, upgrades, and maintenance of toolsets.
• Work closely with internal and external customers to intake new tools, features, and upgrade requests.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure that new tools and features are properly designed and implemented.
• Define and prioritize the product roadmap for tools, based on customer feedback and business objectives.
• Develop and manage the product backlog for tools, including defining user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Work with the development team to ensure that tools are properly implemented and meet customer requirements.
• Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for new tools and features.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with external vendors and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in product management or related field, with a focus on tools and collaboration.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and tools, including JIRA and Confluence.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with security standards and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and PCI-DSS.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
