About the position

The Top Secret Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) position at Insight Global involves developing and delivering training programs for the FBI cyber workforce. The role focuses on assessing the technical competencies of various personnel, creating a relevant cyber training curriculum, and addressing training gaps based on agency priorities and emerging technologies. The ISD will also design online training methods for law enforcement partners and coordinate instructor certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor the technical and investigative competency of the cyber workforce, including executive management, special agents, and intelligence analysts.
• Develop and deliver mission-related training to maximize financial resources allocated to the FBI cyber workforce.
• Establish a cyber training curriculum relevant to the FBI cyber workforce.
• Identify gaps in the current training curriculum based on agency priorities and emerging technologies.
• Institute new training programs to address identified training gaps, ensuring coordination with the targeted student audience.
• Design, develop, and deploy online cyber investigative methods training for law enforcement partners.
• Facilitate legal and specialized subject matter expert review of instructional blocks.
• Coordinate instructor certification and developmental requirements for the Cyber Field Instructor Program (CFIP).
• Identify available training opportunities for professional staff within the Cyber Division.

Requirements

• Experience creating training plans, manuals, and/or ISD experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• 10+ years of ISD or Instructional Design experience.
• Bachelor's Degree.
