About the position

The Sales and Marketing Coordinator at McCrite Plaza is responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to increase occupancy in the retirement community. This role involves building relationships with prospects, residents, and families, providing excellent customer service, and coordinating marketing events and outreach efforts. The position requires a proactive approach to engage residents and ensure compliance with health information privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with prospects, residents, families, and employees.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to inquiries and referral sources.
• Coordinate and conduct tours and assessments for prospective residents and their families.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate new residents' move and admission to the community.
• Assist with increasing occupancy by conducting outreach and building relationships with referral sources.
• Plan and attend special events in the community.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating the marketing plan for McCrite Plaza.
• Coordinate and assist with the design of community advertisements for marketing campaigns.
• Create and manage content on all McCrite social media platforms.
• Oversee and promote activities that engage residents in active senior living.
• Collaborate with staff regarding residents with high acuity and follow up with family members on concerns.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a similar working environment.
• Prior experience in customer service, sales, or related areas is required.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public, residents, and staff.
• Proficient in utilizing company technology, including computer systems and social media platforms.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a retirement community or healthcare setting is preferred.
