About the position

Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking a Tosca Automation Engineer to join their Quality Assurance team. This permanent role involves leveraging expertise in test automation, particularly with the TOSCA framework, to enhance quality engineering practices for a diverse client base. The position emphasizes collaboration within Agile teams and requires a strong foundation in automation frameworks and DevOps principles.

Responsibilities

• Extensive hands-on experience with TOSCA framework components such as test case templates, modules, test design sheets, classes, RTB, and libraries.
• Proficient in working with different types of parameters and implementing PDF comparison using TOSCA tools.
• Designing and implementing enterprise-level automation solutions and frameworks.
• Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using tools like Cucumber.
• Expertise in GitLab, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD implementation.
• Participating in Agile processes such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Researching and adapting to new tools and technologies as an automation architect.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Supporting and collaborating effectively within onshore-offshore models.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in test automation, with at least 2+ years in web automation using the TOSCA framework/TOSCA BI.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and working within Agile teams.
• TOSCA Automation Specialist-I & Automation Specialist-II certifications.

Nice-to-haves

• TOSCA Test case Design Specialist-I and Test Design Specialist-II certifications.
• Experience in the insurance domain processes.
