About the position

The Total Rewards Analyst plays a critical role in the design, implementation, and administration of the company's Total Rewards program. This hybrid position, based in Houston, TX, supports the Total Rewards Manager by conducting research, providing analytics, and participating in project work to meet essential business-linked goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, and performance management.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive pay practices.
  • Participate in compensation and benefits surveys to collect and analyze data for use in determining our total rewards strategy.
  • Support the annual compensation review process, including merit increases, promotions, and adjustments.
  • Collaborate with HR and other cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and streamline workflows.
  • Analyze total rewards data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for total rewards processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to compensation and benefits.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR partners and business leaders on total rewards-related issues and inquiries.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of total rewards training and communications to employees and managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in BOTH compensation AND benefits analysis, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Knowledge of best practices for compensation and benefits, as well as any relevant laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, HRIS systems, and other compensation/benefits tools.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry (preferred, not required).
  • Experience with HRIS systems (1 year preferred).
