About the position

PepsiCo is seeking a highly motivated self-starter for the Total Rewards Operations Analyst position, primarily based at the Frito HQ location. This role is part of the People Experience & Operations team and will support the Quaker North America and Frito Lay North America businesses, focusing on US operations. The position is crucial and highly visible, providing the right candidate with exposure to various levels and functions within the company, laying the groundwork for a successful career at PepsiCo. The analyst will partner with the People function and business leaders to deliver optimized compensation solutions that support the frontline labor agenda across the Quaker Supply Chain and Frito Lay Sales functions. In this role, the analyst will execute frontline compensation programs while identifying opportunities for process improvement in effective pay program management. This will support the respective business strategic plans and enhance the experience of employees, managers, and People Function professionals through transformation initiatives. Additionally, the role will emphasize how Total Rewards programs can be effectively implemented for clients through capability building, resource development, and education.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advisory and consultative Total Rewards support to the People function in the day-to-day execution of the frontline pay programs.
  • Support initiatives that will improve the administration of the frontline compensation programs, delivering an enhanced experience and positively impacting how frontline pay is administered.
  • Manage the Wage Review Processes to determine market competitive pay levels for non-union frontline roles based on market benchmarking, market intelligence, and business demand.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the client and their needs regarding Total Rewards programs.
  • Identify and recommend transformation opportunities to drive harmonized and simplified end-to-end process improvements.
  • Partner with Total Rewards colleagues supporting other divisions to develop consistent and sustainable resources and tools for the People function and frontline leaders.
  • Lead capability, training, and information sessions with client groups.
  • Support the Quaker and Frito Lay labor teams with competitive data for union negotiations to influence positive outcomes and avoid business disruption.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage projects and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence decision-making with business partners both verbally and in writing, including solid presentation skills.
  • Work independently on projects from inception through execution with an urgency to deliver.
  • Must be able to collect, weigh, and analyze data and provide recommendations.
  • Consultative style with the ability to develop credible relationships with business partners.
  • 2+ years of progressive Total Rewards or People function (HR) generalist knowledge.
  • Masters/Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Understand the business operations from both a strategic and tactical perspective.
