The Total Rewards Specialist plays a crucial role in the HR team by managing employee benefits and leave programs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. This position is focused on creating a seamless employee experience by effectively communicating complex processes and supporting employees throughout their benefits journey.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of leave of absence policies, benefits programs, and relevant regulations (FMLA, ADA, etc.).
  • Proficient in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Customer-focused communicator, skilled at building trust and explaining complex processes in clear, simple terms.

Responsibilities

  • Administer leave programs including FMLA, disability, and workers' compensation, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Support benefits processes by assisting employees with enrollment, claims, and plan changes.
  • Deliver exceptional service by responding to employee inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate records of LOA cases and benefits participation, generating insightful reports for leadership.
