About the position

The Touring Dance Videographer position at Kids Artistic Revue, Inc. involves capturing video content during dance competitions across the country. This part-time, seasonal role requires a dedicated individual who enjoys working with children and can handle the demands of long hours and travel. The position offers an opportunity to gain professional experience in live productions while being part of a dynamic team that celebrates dance talent.

Responsibilities

• Loading-in and breakdown event set-up, must be able to lift 20 lbs.
• Capturing video of routines at competition events.
• Providing superior customer service to event attendees.
• Communicating inventory and supply needs to event directors.
• Traveling required and working on weekends; potentially Thursday PM to Monday AM.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and healthy work environment.
• Being cooperative with teammates and taking direction from the event director.

Requirements

• Must have a working knowledge of digital video equipment such as Sony PXW-Z150 and Blackmagic HyperDeck Studio Mini.
• Some gaffing experience helpful.
• Familiarity with digital NTSC monitors and fluid head tripods.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must be a dedicated team player.
• Able to work long strenuous hours.
• Must have a valid government-issued ID or passport.
