About the position

The Tourism Research Analyst plays a crucial role in the Tourism team at the Chickasaw Nation, focusing on tourism data visualization, statistical analysis, and revenue forecasting. This position is designed to enhance the understanding of the tourism industry through innovative analysis and collaboration with various departments. The analyst will be responsible for research, project management, and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types

  • Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made

  • Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics

  • Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area
  • Assists with various research projects and/or special projects
  • Prepares ad hoc reports
  • Performs research and conducts presentations as required
  • Acts as liaison between internal and/or external individuals and/or groups
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies, computational methods and best practices in data analysis and research
  • Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement
  • Develops integrated marketing strategies for assigned projects and entities
  • Maintain and analyze existing data, including spreadsheet management, KPI tracking, and periodic analysis using business intelligence tools to generate insights and identify trends and patterns
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 3 years directly related experience
  • Bachelors of Business
  • Ability to analyze data for accuracy and improvements
  • Advanced Excel skills to include embedded links, pivot tables, query, etc.
  • Standard Driver's License
