About the position

The Tourism Special Projects Coordinator serves as the business liaison for the Love Kansas initiative, providing direct assistance and consultation to stakeholders and partners. This role focuses on enhancing talent recruitment efforts through participation in HR events, job fairs, and public initiatives, while also hosting webinars and discussions to promote project engagement. The coordinator will work closely with various divisions of the Department of Commerce to build partnerships and utilize analytics to assess project effectiveness and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct assistance, guidance, and consultation to key stakeholders and partners as the business liaison for the Love Kansas initiative.
  • Conduct meetings with Kansas business stakeholders to engage them in the program.
  • Support talent recruitment efforts for Kansas businesses.
  • Develop and implement strategies for participation in HR events, job fairs, and other public events.
  • Host public-facing webinars, panel meetings, and other events to promote project engagement.
  • Collaborate with various divisions of the Department of Commerce to support talent recruitment strategies.
  • Utilize analytics and reports to assess project effectiveness and implement continuous improvements.
