About the position

The Tower Technician II position at Mercury Broadband involves building and servicing tower sites to provide high-speed Internet and digital phone services. The role requires hands-on work, adherence to safety guidelines, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network outages. Responsibilities

• Ability to use provided safety gear while working at heights up to 300ft.
• Installation of broadband equipment at Mercury tower premises.
• Represent the company in a professional manner.
• Assist with new tower site construction.
• Troubleshoot broadband tower equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network outages.
• Basic mechanical skills for installation and tuning of Microwave Dishes and Radios.
• Ability to be on call and troubleshoot network outages as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, towers (up to 300'), and elevated locations.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate basic hand and power tools.
• Follow cabling procedures for wiring towers.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Self-Motivated.
• 2+ years Tower hand experience (preferred).
• First Aid/CPR/AED certified (preferred).
• Authorized Climber and Rescue trained (preferred).
