About the position

The Technical Program Manager (TPM) in the Devices Supply Chain & Logistics team at Amazon Lab126 plays a crucial role in the hardware development process, ensuring successful product launches and ongoing support. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define business requirements, monitor supply and fulfillment of devices, and drive continuous improvement in processes and systems. The TPM will leverage their technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to manage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver results on complex projects involving teams across the company.
• Work with stakeholders to define business requirements.
• Understand current system capabilities and limitations.
• Problem solve and explore solutions to current processes and systems.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement in operations.
• Monitor supply and fulfillment of devices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 2+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Access, MS Project, Confluence, SharePoint and Agile.
• Display technology knowledge with consumer electronics experience.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to report program status to upper management.
